Chief Operating Officer

Vivian Bright is the Chief Operating Officer and a Managing Partner of Performance Solutions by Design.  As a certified Performance Consultant, Vivian focuses her efforts on assisting clients in their discovery of purpose, foundational values and business objectives.  Once accomplished, Vivian is able to put together a strategic plan necessary for the creation, introduction, and maintenance of a sustainable culture of service excellence.  Vivian plays an instrumental role in the development and continuous improvement of the intellectual property of Performance Solution by Design as well as its customized programs and strategic planning.

Prior to becoming part of the Performance Solutions by Design team, Vivian worked her way through several leadership roles with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC.  Starting as   Training Coordinator/Quality Assurance Manager, Vivian worked her way to Assistant Director of Human Resources/Training & Development, and finally to Corporate Director of Training & Organizational Effectiveness.   She was instrumental in the career pathing of over 50 Training & Development personnel both domestic and international.  Her responsibilities ranged from strategic planning to comprehensive course development and maintenance, process development and improvement, as well as the facilitation of learning at all levels of the organization.

For most companies there is a gap between knowing and doing; i.e. taking the knowledge necessary to create a service-oriented culture and implementing it in such a way to evoke sustainable change within their organizations.  Vivian is uniquely talented to close that gap between knowing and doing to achieve organizational alignment and bottom-line results. Vivian has created customized programs and alignment strategies for our clients.  She has provided keynote presentations to thousands of people from various industries ranging from healthcare or government to hospitality or manufacturing.  She is equally as comfortable facilitating to an audience of senior leadership as she is in front of line employees.  She has the ability to relate to her audience regardless of the composition or enormity.   

Vivian holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Winthrop University, with a concentration in Computer Science.  She is an active member of the American Society of Training & Development and enjoys outreach work with the children of her community.  She and her husband currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia with their three sons.
