Hi, I’m Theo Gilbert-Jamison, and in this brief blog, I’d like to share TEN things that SMART leaders don’t do!
ONE – They Don’t Make Excuses. Instead they accept responsibility, learning from their experience to improve.
TWO – Smart leaders don’t Rely on Luck… to solve their problems. Instead, they spend their energy… working on ways to resolve it.
THREE – They Don’t Act on Emotions alone. Instead, they take a step back to weigh and assess their options before moving forward.
FOUR – They Don’t Overestimate their abilities. Understanding their weaknesses and gaps, they continually work on strengthening them.
FIVE – Smart leaders don’t Expect immediate results. They clearly understand the value of patience, and the importance of focusing on long-term, more sustainable results.
SIX – They don’t Overly Rely on Others because they understand just how important it is to be self-reliant.
SEVEN – They don’t Focus on things they can’t control. Instead, they focus on their circle of influence.
EIGHT – Smart leaders don’t Waste time… on people who discourage them. As an alternative, they surround themselves with positive, progressive, like-minded people.
NINE – They don’t Gossip, because they feel it’s a waste of valuable time, that negatively impacts one’s reputation, and often hurts others.
And finally TEN – Smart leaders never Forget to Say “thank you,†because it’s there way of showing respect, value, and appreciation for others.
